Comyns is one of the oldest and most prestigious silversmiths from the United Kingdom. The WC hallmark can be traced to the 17th century.
Comyns began by specialising in decorative tableware and later become renowned for its interpretative works, particularly of Paul de Lamerie, regarded by many as the greatest silversmith in 18th century England.
Our archive contains more than 35,000 historical moulds, tools, patterns and drawings, covering some of the most significant movements of decorative art – Baroque, Rococo, Neo-Classical and Art Nouveau.
